Not Nokia : Its Newkia
who is going to Launch
Android Mobiles soon:
One of the most intriguing question
that Bloggers, CEO’s, Webmasters
keep asking to each other that when
Nokia is going to launch android
smartphones. Everyone is eagerly
waiting for Nokia to make phones
with Android as their OS.
From the first day of this rumor, Nokia
was very clear about their stand, that
No Nokia phone will ever welcome
Android. Being taken taken it as their
permanent stand, No Nokia phone till
date has Android based platform.
But a recent breaking news is giving
relevant information that is co-
relating Nokia and Android. Some of
the former Nokia employees have
joined together to start a new venture
named as ” NewKia ” whose primary
goal is to manufacturer Android
based smartphones that Nokia would
have never made. The CEO of this
company NewKia is Thomas
Zilliacus who has already served
Nokia for many years. Thomas
Zilliacus also said that it was dream
to see Android running Nokia phones
but it never came true and now he
decided to write a new history.
Newkia has already got enough
attention in the market and they are
expecting serious investors who has
faith in the company. If all go with
the plan, the company will start
functioning in the start of 2014 and
we will be seeing the first Handset of
Newkia running Android platform.
Microsoft didn’t found this news
disheartening and is continuing to
operate with Nokia as it was.
Microsoft Lumia series will come at
its own pace and has nothing to do
with the new company Newkia, no
matter there will be similar hardware
in both phones. This way Newkia,
would be able to mix the best of both
Nokia and Android.
The only action we’d be waiting for is
from Nokia, Will they allow Newkia to
use the technology which Nokia used
to provide ? Ain’t there going to be
any licensing or patent issues ?
Well, nothing can be said in this
regard as we really don’t know how
these MNC’s make their decision.
What we can do is just wait, wait and
wait.
